Comprehensive Financial Planning

The CONDUIT Framework is a stewardship-first financial planning process for Christians who want their money to reflect their convictions. God entrusts resources to His people for a purpose — not for aimless accumulation, comfort, or cultural conformity.

But without a clear plan, it’s easy to slide into spending habits, investment choices, and financial assumptions that have nothing to do with biblical guidelines.

The CONDUIT Framework helps you build a simple, conviction-driven financial plan that aligns your money with Scripture, clarifies your responsibilities, and strengthens your walk with Christ across every season of life. Not just retirement, investing, or insurance -

It's
Whole-life stewardship.

  • Cash Flow Clarity - Know where your money is going and put every dollar to intentional use. We build a clear system that supports your household, reduces stress, and frees you to spend guilt-free, save confidently, & give generously.

  • Offer Your Future - Retirement planning rooted in faithfulness — not fear or fantasy — so you know what “enough” truly is.

  • Next-Gen Legacy - Estate planning that protects your family, clarifies your wishes, and reflects your convictions.

  • Downside Protection - Practical life and disability insurance guidance to shield your household from real-world risks without overspending or over-insuring.

  • Use Your Wealth Well - Define your financial finish lines and build a generous, Kingdom-minded rhythm for your resources.

  • Invest With Integrity - Your portfolio decisions express your convictions. So we design portfolios that reflect biblical values, manage real risks, and avoid investments that conflict with your beliefs.

  • Tax Stewardship - Clear tax strategy — not tax prep — including projections, Roth planning, and tax-efficient investing.

Faith Based Investment Management

When you invest, you're not just buying tickers—you're taking part ownership in real businesses that shape culture, serve (or exploit) people, and build (or deplete) the future.

Openhanded Wealth helps Christians invest in alignment with biblical values, pursuing long-term growth while promoting human flourishing. We believe morally good companies tend to prosper over the long term, and that your portfolio should reflect what you believe about God's world.

Sometimes you don’t need a full ongoing planning relationship — you just need focused help on a specific problem, done right, with on-call support as you implement.

A Project engagement gives you:

  • A defined sprint, usually 90 days

  • A step-by-step plan

  • Hands-on implementation support

  • Weekly or bi-weekly check-ins

  • A finished outcome you can use on your own without further expense

Projects typically range from $2,500–$7,500+ depending on complexity.

Common projects include:

  • Retirement readiness analysis

  • Portfolio restructuring or cleanup

  • Roth conversion planning & tax projections

  • Insurance review and implementation roadmap

  • Cash-flow overhaul or Profit First setup

  • Estate readiness review and household preparation

  • Charitable giving strategy / donor-advised fund setup

Customer testimonials

Don't take it from us, take it from those we've had the privilege of serving already.

Nick has been an incredible asset to both my family and business. When my wife and I had our second child and launched our first business about a year ago, our finances were, frankly, a mess. Nick was exactly what we needed. He coached us, consulted with us, and created a financial plan that left us feeling both optimistic about our future and confident in our decisions. Beyond just organizing our finances, he's empowered us to give generously while still being financially responsible. We couldn't recommed Nick and Openhanded more.

Nick went above and beyond! He has been incredibly helpful as I prepare for retirement. It’s such a relief to go through each step with someone as knowledgeable and thorough as Nick. His guidance, patience, and genuine care have made this process so much smoother. I’m grateful to have his expertise on my side!

Nick has given me strong and proactive financial recommendations for my current season in life. He's a great sounding board to explore what's coming, what's possible and what's enduring. I've always needed a strong counselor who shares my faith and looks at financial decisions as legacy building and faith affirming actions. Nick checks all these boxes for me.

FAQs

What makes Openhanded Wealth different from other financial advisors?

Most advisors optimize money for two goals: accumulation & preservation. But my goal is simply to help you steward it — after all, it’s not yours. And that truth should hit you as a glorious release of pressure and stress. Financial planning is part of Christian worship & discipleship — it should not be a sales transaction or a means of building our own kingdoms. I provide clear, honest, biblically-grounded advice for every area of your financial life. If you’re tired of the pursuit of money shaping your financial decisions and want to rely fully on God’s guidance as you steward His resources, you’re in the right place.

Do I have to be a Christian to work with you?

Not at all — but you should know that everything I do is rooted in Scripture and that should be a comfort to you. Not only will I always act in your best interest, but my approach might just lead you to lay hold of that which is truly life (see 1 Timothy 6:19). I work with anyone who appreciates transparency, integrity, and a stewardship-first approach. My process, advice, and investment philosophy are explicitly shaped by biblical convictions. If you’re comfortable with that, you’re welcome here.

How much does it cost to work with Openhanded Wealth?

  ‣ 1.00% annually for accounts above $2 million

One-Time Financial Planning:
$1,500 flat fee

If you later move into ongoing planning, the $1,500 is credited toward your onboarding fee.

Everything is flat-fee, transparent, and commission-free. No surprise charges. No product sales. Ever.

Do you only work with wealthy people?

I work with clients who want to steward what God has given them. As a fee-only advisor, my pricing allows me to accept clients regardless of their net worth, income levels, or liquidity. That being said, my clients generally find my services to make the most economic sense for them when they earn $250k+ per year or have at least that much to invest. If you want clarity, simplicity, and a financial life aligned with your faith, you’re not “too small,” “too early,” or “too behind.”

What does "faith-based" investing mean?

Faith-based investing starts with this conviction: investing is ownership. When you invest, you’re owning real companies doing real work — and Scripture calls us to steward that ownership with integrity. Faith-based investing means:
○ Aligning your portfolio with biblical ethics.
○ Avoiding companies that profit from sin or exploitation, extracting value rather than creating it.
○ Seeking businesses that contribute to genuine flourishing — both human & natural.
○ Treating investing as an act of worship, not a neutral financial decision.

Faith-based investing is simply this: using your God-given resources in a way that reflects what you believe — while applying sound, prudent investment principles.
